I hate it when people say “I’m never getting married” or “I think relationships are stupid because they never work out” Get over yourself and stop being so pessimistic. How would you know if they don’t work out if you don’t put yourself in the situation of getting in a relationship or getting married? You can’t live life thinking you’re going to know the outcome of every situation is going to be negative. You just have to go into things without knowing what will happen.

Just because someone has a different opinion on marriage, not to mention the fact that they probably have VERY good reason, for why they feel marriage is not for them, doesnt make them a pessimist. I myself don’t plan on getting married: 1. I have never witnessed a successful marriage in my life, besides that of friends parents (white, btw) 2. Divorce is expensive 3. Marrying the father of my children is going to create a lot of problems for the kids should anything happen to us. No beuno. I’m not going to put my kids through what I had to go through and what my niece and cousins and friends went through. Marriage was cool a plausible in the old world, but in the new world I don’t see it working out. New world, New York? Lol. RIGHT.
I’m not going to even bring in marriage statistics. I’ve said my peace.
