The measure, which bars the sale of sweetened drinks larger than 16 ounces, will take effect in six months unless blocked by a judge. ——— After having visited Europe and seeing the effects of people having smaller and less sugary drinks (healthier people, hell I even lost 8lbs in 9 days, and I was eating crap!), I don’t think it’s such a bad idea. Tho hey talk in the article about more “overweight” neighborhoods… WELL. Maybe if they stopped letting McDonalds and Popeyes put their big corporate asses on every street corner in black neighborhoods, not to mention liquor stores, chicken spots, Chinese among others… And the fact that there is NO legitimate supermarket for miles! And the fact that healthy for is double sometimes even TRIPLE the price of crap… Okay I’m ranting now. But anyway, this can’t just be one thing, they have to go all the way with it.
